Unique Experience –
GeoStat has developed and is developing very innovative projects including: designing a capital, operational and maintenance cost GIS for the City of Phoenix Capital Infrastructure; tracking missiles, ‘Real-Time’ at White Sands Missile Range using ArcGIS; the mapping of the pipe internal and external conditions including dents, corrosion, leaks and many other flaws using internal inspection cameras and intelligent ‘Pigs’ for energy companies. This technology was designed to meet the specialized engineering needs for hydraulic systems from long distance petroleum pipelines to local water and waste water systems. The cost in loss savings is more than offset by the inspection and GIS costs. We also have experience in wind generated and biomass energy technologies and security hardware and software. GeoStat has project experience in the United States, Mexico, India and China.

GeoStat used its extensive expertise in the conversion of hard copy maps into a specialized GIS database. GeoStat utilized the latest in GIS and computer mapping systems, including products from ESRI (ArcGIS, ArcView) along with custom programs to meet the City of Las Cruces’ needs. Keeping current with the latest developments that improve quality and added new functions, GeoStat lowered the cost to the City as well.

GeoStat developed a system that integrated hardware, software and data for capturing, managing, analyzing and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information. GeoStat developed a system that integrated hardware, software and data for capturing, managing, analyzing and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information. GeoStat developed a GIS can be viewed in three ways: data base, maps and model (new geographic datasets from existing datasets). Together, these three views are critical parts of an intelligent GIS and are used at varying levels in all GIS applications.

GeoStat developed a system that integrated planning and development hardware, software and data for capturing, managing, analyzing and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information. Overlays were developed for an online mapping system or Interactive GIS mapping system. Static zoning maps were also provided.
